PG eLogbook for MD/MS residents (PGMER 2023)
Your postgraduate logbook, kept online: entries aligned to your specialty's NMC curriculum, approved by your guide, and certified by your HOD.
In short
AuraPharmLab's eLogbook is an online logbook for MD and MS residents, made for the NMC PGMER 2023 logbook mandate. You log your training (cases, procedures, seminars, practicals, postings and more, depending on your specialty) using entry types drawn from your specialty's NMC competency-based PG curriculum. A faculty member on your roster approves each entry or returns it with a note, your HOD certifies each year and the final record, and you can download the whole logbook as a PDF. Drafting, viewing and PDF export are free; submitting entries for sign-off costs ₹99 a month or ₹999 a year. Faculty use it free.
From entry to certified record
-
1
Log it
Record an entry using your specialty's entry types. Save drafts as often as you like; a draft stays editable until you submit it.
-
2
Get it signed
Submit the entry to a faculty member on your roster. They approve it, or return it with a note so you can fix it and submit again. Approved entries are locked.
-
3
Get certified
Your HOD certifies each residency year and the final record (for exam eligibility). Download the whole logbook as a PDF whenever you need it.
One logbook, two sides
Every account has one role, resident or faculty, chosen once when you set up your profile. A resident can never approve their own work.
Residents
- Pick your specialty, institution, university and the year you joined PG. Entries are filed under Year 1, 2 or 3 from the year you joined and the date of each entry.
- Add your guide, co-guide, unit faculty and HOD to your roster by email. Each one gets an email invitation to accept.
- Send entries that need sign-off to a faculty member who has accepted your invitation, and get an email when an entry is approved or returned.
- Download your logbook as a PDF: a cover, a summary, your HOD certifications and every submitted entry grouped by curriculum category, with its status.
Faculty
- Guides, co-guides, unit faculty and HODs sign up and review free.
- Accept or decline a resident's invitation to join their roster.
- Open the To review tab to see entries sent to you. Approve each one, or return it with a note explaining what to fix.
- On any day entries are waiting for your review, get one morning email saying how many.
- As HOD, certify each residency year once the resident has reached it, and the final record from Year 3, with a summary of their entries by status.

An online logbook for MD and MS residents, made for the NMC PGMER 2023 logbook mandate. You record entries against your specialty's curriculum, faculty on your roster approve them, your HOD certifies the record, and you can download the whole logbook as a PDF.
Which specialties does it cover?

How much does it cost?
Residents pay ₹99 a month or ₹999 a year, and only to submit entries for faculty sign-off. Signing up, drafting, viewing your logbook and downloading it as a PDF are free. Faculty accounts are free.
Who signs off my entries?

Is this the official NMC logbook?
No. The eLogbook is made by AuraPharmLab; it is not an NMC or university portal. Its entry types follow the NMC curriculum documents, but whether your college or university accepts an e-logbook is their decision, so check with your department.
